Compare them to a drug dealer who sells highly addictive drugs to school kids and you get the profile. Both groups don't care the least bit about the consequences of their behaviour on others. It's only the profit for themself that counts. The fact that even Human Rights Orgs.like Licado and the Press are mute on the issue came as a surprise to me at first. I now know more and am no longer surprised. They don't feel the need to morally justify their actions. They don't suffer guilt or feel any moral responsibility. They are only self interested and concerned with self preservation. They are mostly obsessed with power, playing and winning games, appeasing their boredom and seeking pleasure. Their story is focusing on how smart they are or how well they play a situation.
The only time they may feel shame or embarrassment is when they have been outplayed. They're never embarrassed that someone may be thinking something bad about them, as long as they have conceived of some gambit in which they have fooled or outmaneuvered others.
Normal people would feel emotions which they simply don't.
I don't know if I would have the power to endure what you have to endure every day. Surely one would seek "a way out" and would rather be dead than being put on a suffering stretcher which will make these moral perverts happy. There are also the gutter judges like Peter Hogan (now dead thanks ....), Scott Neeson, Andrew Drummond etc. who simply take pleasure in dragging dragging people through the mud in order to satisfy their lynch mob justice.
Don't give up. This would make these people's life easy (no more questions please, he's dead !) There are enough people that can see through the scam and wish you and others like Matt Harland etc. the justice that you deserve.

Note the date of Steve Morrish’s press release. 28th June 2010. This is 8 days after Andrew Drummond quoted Scott Neeson as saying I was grooming young girls and should be sent packing.
Take a look at this paragraph: “For the past two years, the British Police Child Exploitation and Online Protection team (CEOP), in cooperation with the Cambodia National Police and NGO’s South East Asia Investigations into Social and Humanitarian Activities (SISHA) and APLE have been investigating British national Mr. David Fletcher for alleged sexual abuse of children in Cambodia.”
For two years 4 different NGOs had been looking for evidence to back up Hogan and Neeson’s claims that I was grooming girls. They had found nothing. They had found nothing because there was nothing to be found. You can imagine how pissed off they must have been to have spent all that time and money and come up with no evidence against me.
Ask yourself the question: “are all four of these NGOs incompetent or it at least one of them competent enough to come up with evidence after two years if there is any evidence to be found?’
Now take a look at what Cheang Sokha wrote on 21 March 2011.
“Samleang Seila, director of the child rights group Action Pour Les Enfants, said Fletcher was set to stand trial at Phnom Penh Municipal Court on March 31 for allegedly raping two underage girls.”
Two girls? Who was the other girl? Why is it that she disappeared from the equation during the next 10 days before a secret trial was called that I was not invited to and didn’t know about till later? How come the media know I am to be tried in secret but no-one tells me?
Before you spill more bile all those of you who hate me but have never met me and have no problems in believing whatever lies are told by the likes of Hogan and Neeson just ask yourself a few questions and even if you think Im guilty despite the evidence at least acknowlege that I have a right to a trial and am innocent till proven guilty. Thats all I want. A fair trial.

Sir, you have not provided me with specific legally requested papers. The first lot of papers delivered to me last year does not include many that I asked for. It does include enough to prove the FCO lied about my passport but FCO lies do not bother you it seems. Not even when your own office is destroying evidence I need in court to prove I was not in Cambodia at the time I was supposed to be raping a young woman whose hymen managed to stay intact through the whole ordeal!
Sir, since I have been in hospital no-one from the British Embassy in Cambodia has had the decency to inquire of my desperate situation. ReplyDeleteThe Phnom Penh Municipal Court on Monday convicted a British national of purchasing child prostitution and committing indecent acts against minors, sentencing him to eight years in prison and ordering him to pay a total of $5,000 in fines and compensation.
Michael Glyn Jones, 55, was found guilty of having sex with an 11-year-old girl and then paying the child and her mother. He was also convicted of molesting three other girls between the ages of 7 and 9.
Mr. Jones was arrested outside Olympic Market on June 24 after the victims’ mothers lodged complaints about the abuse and municipal anti-human trafficking police launched a joint investigation with child protection group Action Pour Les Enfants (APLE).
“The court decides to sentence Michael Glyn Jones to eight years in jail and fine him 4 million riel [about $1,000] for purchasing child prostitution and committing indecent acts against minors under the age of 15,” Presiding Judge Ly Sokleng announced in the courtroom Monday.
“After he finishes his jail term, the court also bans him from Cambodia,” the judge added. “[The court] orders the defendant to pay 8 million riel [about $2,000] to each of the two plaintiffs.”
During his trial in February, Mr. Jones denied the charges against him. He claimed that he simply took the younger girls—who had been begging for money near NagaWorld casino—to eat ice cream and that he went with the 11-year-old girl to the movie theater at Sorya Mall.
After the verdict was read out Monday, Mr. Jones announced that he would appeal the decision before being escorted out of the courtroom by prison guards.
Outside the courtroom, Ro Binike, Mr. Jones’ lawyer, said that insufficient evidence had been produced to prove his client’s guilt.
“[T]here was not enough evidence to inculpate my client,” he said. “We cannot accept it, so we will appeal.”
Samleang Seila, country director of APLE, said he was happy with the court’s decision.
“This man committed an extremely serious crime against young girls and has to be held responsible,” he said.

APLE had been following Jones for a long time and did NOTHING when he took the 11 year old girl to his apartment and raped her.
Please notice the girl was wearing a BLUE shirt the first time she followed Jones upstairs and she's wearing a WHITE shirt the second time, while APLE was 'protecting' her outside by filming the events both times and did NOTHING to prevent the abuse ! ! !
The video proves that APLE let the crime occur on at least two occasions (the documents say 3x), without intervening ! ! !
This proves once again that APLE's first priority is NOT to protect children ! ! !
If there was enough evidence, such as a doctor's examination saying the girl is no longer a virgin, Jones should've gotten the maximum sentence of 15 years, but sleazy Seila Samleang deserves life in prison for his complicity to many crimes against children over the past decade ! ! !

ReplyDeleteI cannot comment on this case as I know none of the details. Perhaps there has been earlier reporting on it that I am unaware of because I am in Australia. This particular article reads like an APLE press release. One part of the article is of interest, however:
"...municipal anti-human trafficking police launched a joint investigation with child protection group Action Pour Les Enfants (APLE)."
Two questions:
(1) Why do the Cambodian authorities need the assistance of APLE? Is it anticipated that a day will come when the Cambodian authorities are able to conduct their own investigations without APLE assistance? This would, of course, be a sad day for Thierry Darnaudet as APLE would cease to exist and a substantial part of his income stream would dry up. This applies for Samleang Siela also. APLE has to continue to justify its existence.
(2) How can APLE describe itself as a "child protection group" when it failed so miserably to protect Hang Vibol's alleged victims over the 8 months it took to interview less than 20 kids?
There are so many instances on record now of APLE not protecting kids but leaving them in danger so as to be able to rescue them in a manner (preferably with cameras present) that brings the NGO to the attention of the media. And the media obliges without looking too closely at the 'evidence' that APLE produces in support of its allegations.

Indeed a dark shadow over last week’s Khmer New Year festivities. Fortunately Scott Neeson's Child 'Protection' Unit chief James Mc Cabe was present at the crime scenes.
